About Me

Hello, I am
Christabel Obuobi Sarpomaa.

I hold a double major in Sociology and Public Administration from the University of Ghana and currently pursuing graduate studies in Sociology. My academic journey has allowed me to deepen my interest in gender studies, an area I am particularly passionate about exploring academically and beyond.

I have a strong foundation in sociological theory, research methods, and gender studies. My teaching interests include social inequality, gender, and the application of sociological concepts to everyday life.

My training in teaching sociology has equipped me with skills in course design, assessment, and teaching. I am especially committed to helping students develop critical thinking skills and put on their sociological imagination lens to better understand real-world issues.

I aspire to become a professor of sociology and, as an instructor, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate, think critically, and connect course material to their own lived experiences.
